Let us not be complacent..!
Some of our comrades are circulating the Pay revision calculation work sheets and benefits there upon after Pay fixation assuming 15% fitment benefits. I sincerely think this is premature to count the eggs even before the hatching of hen. The workers should not be made complacent by this calculation work sheets. We need to prepare the employees for a united and resolute struggles as we need to cross few hurdles before actually achieving the implementation of Third wage revision.
The main hurdle is getting relaxation from the Central Cabinet for implementing third wage revision despite not running on profit during the past three years. Our Minister promised us to forward the necessary note for the relaxation by 31-03-2018 in February. But sadly till this day note has not been finalised in DOT. It has to be thereafter sent to Cabinet. We don’t know how much time the Cabinet will take to positively consider our note for relaxation . In this background circulating work sheets on calculation of benefits on assumptions will only make our employees complacent . Instead we all should channelise the anger and dissatisfaction amongst our employees due to the inordinate delay in implementation of wage revision and allowances revision with effect from 01-01-2017. Trade unions must always keep their powder dry for Meeting any eventuality and challenges of future.

District executive committee meeting of NFTCL in Cuddalore was held on 16-09-2018 in Villupuram under the Presididentship of Harikrishnan , the District President. Hundreds of Telecom Contract Labourers and NFTCL District/ State and CHQ office bearers spoke and explained the current status of long pending demands of Contract Labourers. Com.N. Anbalagan, State NFTCL Vice President inaugurated the District Executive Committee meeting. State Secretary of NFTCL / Tamilnadu S. Anandan in his key note address explained the activities of State Committee. Comrade CKM, State President Babu and State Treasurer Sampath also participated and spoke in the DEC meeting. Com. Manjini , District Secretary replied to the debate on problems of contract Labourers in the district.

தொடரும் முயற்சி
நமது பொதுச் செயலாளர் தோழர் C.K. மதிவாணன் நேற்று மண்டல தொழிலாளர் நலத்துறை ஆணையர் 

(RLC ) புதுடெல்லி அவர்களிடம் கடந்த மாதம் 03/07/2018 அன்று அவர் பிறப்பித்த உத்தரவினை பற்றியும் அதற்கு நன்றி தெரிவித்து பேசினார்.அந்த உத்தரவுப்படி நமது சங்கத்தோடு நிர்வாகம் அனைத்து தல மட்டங்களிலும நாம் வைக்கும் கோரிக்கையினை பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தி சுமூக தீர்வு எட்டப்பட முயற்சிக்க வேண்டும் என்று அறிவுறுத்தி போடப்பட்ட உத்தரவினை, நமது பிஎஸ்என்எல் கார்பரேட் அலுவலகம் அமல்படுத்த எந்தவித முயற்சிகள் மேற்கொள்ளவில்லை என்பதை எடுத்துரைத்தார் . அதற்கடுத்தாற்போல் தமிழ்நாட்டில் சம்பளப் பிரச்சினை காரணமாக ஒவ்வொரு மாதமும் போராட்டமாகவே உள்ளது என்றும் பல மாவட்டங்களில் பல மாதங்களாக ஊதியம் வழங்காமல் ஒப்பந்த ஊழியர்கள் வஞ்சிக்கப்படுகிறார்கள் என்பதைப் பற்றியும் வேதனையோடு பகிர்ந்துள்ளார் இதனைக் கேட்ட RLC Head quarters அவர்கள் இந்த இரண்டு பிரச்சினைகளைப் பற்றி BSNL கார்ப்பரேட் அலுவலகத்தில் இதற்கான பேச்சுவார்த்தை நடத்தி பிரச்சனைகளை சுமூகமாக தீர்த்து வைக்க முயற்சிக்கிறோம் என்று கூறியதோடு மட்டுமல்லாமல் தமிழ்நாட்டில் நிலவிவரும் சம்பள பிரச்சினையில் வரும் வாரத்தில் சரி செய்வோம் என்றும் உறுதி அளித்துள்ளார்.தொடர்ச்சியாக ஒப்பந்த ஊழியர்களுக்கான நலனைப் பற்றியே பல மட்டங்களில் போராடி வரும் நமது பொதுச் செயலாளரை தமிழ்நாடு மாநில கமிட்டியின் சார்பாக நன்றியை உரித்தாக்குகிறோம்
